Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) or Communicative Approach (CA) is a language teaching method that focuses on helping students communicate in real-world situations. The goal of CLT is to develop communicative competence, rather than linguistic competence, through learner interaction. That being so, check the answer whose characteristic is not associated with the Communicative Language Teaching.

Alternativa A:
Peripheral learning: CLT hides important information so that students only perceive it peripherally.
Alternativa B:
Focus on communication: CLT focuses on helping students use the language independently and do things in the language.
Alternativa C:
Role plays: CLT activities may include role plays, such as attending a meeting, being in a restaurant, or participating in a debate.
Alternativa D:
Indirect feedback: CLT instructors use indirect feedback or conversational redirection instead of interrupting or correcting students when they make mistakes.
Alternativa E:
Student-centered: in CLT, teachers act as facilitators or guides, and class activities are driven by the students.
